Shared Facilities for Environmental geoChemistry and Genomics The CECG has supported a portion of the Intercollegiate Mass Spectometry
Facility which provides high resolution mass spectral analysis of
samples on a cost recovery basis to University affiliates. The CECG also
supports a high-resolution ICP-MS. Additional analytical facilities are
available to the CECG through sister centers of the EMS Energy Institute
(Carbon Research Center,
Combustion Laboratory, Coal
Utilization Center, Laboratory for Hydrocarbon Process Chemistry)
and those available through collaboration with other programs and Centers
within the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences (Fuel Science Program,
Geosciences Department, the Environmental Stable Isotope Mass Spectrometry Facility, Geosciences Department, the Material
Characterization Laboratory ) and within the Eberly College of Science
(Chemistry Department). The Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectorscopy is housed in the Chemistry Department as well. Analytical
facilities on campus are also housed in the Colleges of Agricultural
Sciences and Engineering. CECG Listserv - To post a message
